Yes with CSI. Took like 6 payments, then denied they had and said they had no record of my phonecalls.

Only thing you can do is phone them asap, ask to speak to manager and see what they say and inform the bank then then just play it by ear. There is a Adrian Flux guy on here, find the thread he started and phone him and explain your a member on here and thats where you got the number. Good luck.

Theyve done similar to a friend of mine, he tried to cancel the renewal and they ignored him and took £120 off him

Go to the bank and make an indemnity claim.. The whole transaction will be cancelled and the money will be recovered very quickly.. Then inform the company thats what you have done & why, and hopefully they will understand and all will be rectified.

It's only an indemnity claim if it was done through direct debit, if it was taken from your card you will need to do a chargeback. They're both essentially the same thing and you will get your money back immediately.

Yeah they did it to me when i had the skyline. basically took 5 payments of £158 and cleared my bank account turned out to be that the plicy was setup 5 times lol. Got it sorted but had to speak with the credit company also. Also they will pay the bank charges as said above.

Hi.

I've just read your post. Have you managed to sort it today? If you need to PM me your details I can get someone to look into it tomorrow and call you back.

Cheers.

Dan.

the person i spoke to apparently referred it to their manager who said they would put it in my bank as it indeed went through tiwce... now the fun part is it will take upto 5 days,

5 days to repay money they shouldnt have took 30 minutes to take it out the bank....

surely it could go back in 30 minutes too.

at the moment to avoid going overdrawn i've had to borrow the cash off family until its repaid as i have bills throughout the month.

No, take's 3 working days minimum. Probably told you 5 as it will have to be signed off or allowing for any delays. I guess they could have done a CHAPS payment to you which is only way you would have got money back on the same day but I dunno how they work there.

Like me and Shaggy said, you should have done an indemnity claim/chargeback, that way you would have got the money back immediately.

If I'm not mistaken there is a charge of £35 or something if you reclaim a direct-debit payment through the bank sdo it's cheaper if the company at fault repays but it takes longer.

got the cash back in the end in 3 days, all sorted now ready to come into action

my aoc membership didnt make a difference though so dunno what was up with that

total premiun 400.15 for year as a standard car..
