Advice Alloys.

I've just got my Black P2 Gti and i want to keep the standard alloys. However i want them painted. Either Gunmetal Grey like Chris180's old Si or Black. Which do you think would look better. I have considered white but they would be a night mare to keep clean.
 
Black with a coloured lip i'd say, if you're keeping your car badged i think a red lip would look good and go with the red GTi badges.

Alternatively, how about bronze?
 
I don't think the gunmetal gray like my old one's would suit our gti's at all. I put them up against the gti and really didn't like it. White I love myself and more swaying to getting it done but dunno about you, but hate my car being dirty and i'm always cleaning it so white isn't to big a problem for me. Black looks great too. If its between black or gray, black has my vote. Dunno about round you area but every place I got quote from said they wouldn't do the rim in another colour and won't do the centre caps cause there plastic. You clean your car often? If you do, giving the wheels a good clean isn't gonna take much time. But if you leave washing your car for couple weeks and let the brake dust and everything settle then prob isn't worth it.

Have to admit when I had the gray one's hardly cleaned the wheels and it was fantastic not having to do it.

Think black and a unlowered car would look alright, but white with the gap the almera's have it would look stupid. It would make the car look even higher imo.
 
i like the white wheels but alot of people dont because of the dirt issue , but tbh if you get some decent wheel cleaner and/or repeller stuff you can get away with it < i do also like the blackness of the pic above , looks tidy and almost stealthy!
