Advice on gearbgox needed

Hi All,

I have been advised that my gearbox has a fault and should be replaced as eventually it will go. When it goes into 2nd gear it is starting to crunch. Even though the rest of the gear are fine and the car drives fine.

I have a 51 plate 1.5 petrol Alerma. Any advice on where to get a a 2nd hand gearbox?

1.8 qg gearbox swap would be cheaper

Replace gear oil with ATF. This should give you a couple more years.
