Advice please

:eek:Hi, car cars just died after turning the engine of after pulling up at work.
Over the last few days ive had issues with starting, either it hasnt or the starter moter has had trouble turning over. When it hasnt started ive called out the AA and he just boosted the battery etc etc etc. I'd checked the battery and it was charging to 14 volts when running/accelerating, as had the AA man, he seemed to think it was a battery problem. I havent had a chance to change the battery as ive been at work.
Now there is no power, (power locking, imobiliser, lights,etc)
Have i answered my own question, is it the battery? Just seems a bit odd that nothing comes on, kinda reminds me of an alternator thing.

sounds like the problem i had on my micra. which was battery. also check the terminal clamps because if they have corroded they may not be making full contact and only connecting when they feel like it!

Just went out on my break, sadly if i had checked this morning when i noticed instead of getting inside to work. i would have noticed that the battery wasn't connected:) tigntened it up and sprayed the connectors in a bit of white man's magic.
Thats resolved todays problem, only the lottery of it starting in the morning to deal with now.

chances are though if the connector has been loose for a while or the terminals are on there way out then it may have been your answer to dodgy morning starting....
