Air restrictions

If I'm going from a turbo compressor outlet bore of approx 32mm to a pipe that's 27mm bore, then going to 57mm bore a few inches after, is this going to restrict power greatly, or will it be minimal when we're talking about air pressures that high please?
 
its not going to restrict power, but it will increase lag, as it has to bring the 57mm bore pipe up to pressure, so it will take longer to get full boost.

on an NA car it would be restrictive, but not on a turbo
 
Yeah am ready for any lag issues, but it's more about the restriction of a few mm I'm worried about. So that's good then :)
 
i'm certain it wont be restrictive of power, no more so than stock boost piping.

lag issues will be overcome by what your doing with TT if it is what i think it is
 
haha yeah, plus the turbo is VNT, which is why modern diesels don't really have lag problems.
