bought my gti back in june had no key fobs with it, the other day parked up and put my hazzards on to find they didnt work so got home had a look to find no fuse so put a new one in, pushed switch all worked, then after about 15 seconds my hazzard come on and falsh so though thats strange so go under the bonnet to find siren disconected plug that in and you've guessed it go's off, so looks like who ever had it before the garage i bought it from lost the fobs and just disconected em to trade it in, is there anyway i can disconnect the alarm fully so i can use my hazzards or will i have to have the alarm taken out?? im havin a new one fitted soon as i decide which one to have but wont be for a couple of months
