alarm

hi can anyone help me my nats has given up the ghost i think its the fob let me explain what happend i thought the batt had gone flat so i chainged it once i put in new onw the red light came on and wouldnt go off i presed the arm button once and it went off now it wont activate my alarm what have i done and can i fix it i dont have the master fob as i got the car second hand and didnt know much about it then its a p1 gti if it makes a diference
pls someone tell me i can fix it as forking out for a new one wont be cheep i bet

any help would be great there must be someone on here who can help me pls

I wasnt saying it apropos of perfect grammar, just that a full stop wouldn't kill him.
 
You need to relearn the fob, but you do need the master fob to do so unfortunately.

hope that was better lol so i deff need a master to relearn mine .well thats buggerd me alarm then hasnt it is ther any way to get the code or what ever it is from the actual alarm ???

sorry us old guys do need to have better gramer .

Unfortunatly you can't program a master fob to work with your alarm, only way around it is to buy a new Alarm Control Unit with a Master Fob with it. Best bet is to find someone breaking their GTi to get one, its a bit expensive to get one through nissan.
