Alarm??

When i got my GTi a few weeks back i got two keys but no central locking fobs or anything like that. I've noticed iv got an alarm under the bonnet so i was wondering should i have fobs for the central locking and if so how would i go about getting some freshies?

You would go to Nissan and they would bend you over because you have no master or any fobs. They would probably have to put a new system in.

i have 4 nats fobs if thats wot u need then have it reprogrammed to ur car mate if u can do that.

if i can reprogramme them to my car tehn ill take them straight away fella, ill have to do some research on it cos i havent got a clue, unless someone from here knows.

you need a new master unit which comes with thob and then you get the other thobs coded in

i got a new master unit a few years ago, cost around £100

My old gti the fob was busted. I went to nissan and they said i would need new fob's and chip to get the alarm and remote locking working again. £270. needless to say that didnt happen.

is it nessessery to have the new key and ignition and door locks changed or can i just use the main unit and fobs?

nope just the unit which is pictured above and the fobs, should be located on top of the tunel near the main car ecu
