Alloy re-spray

Im attempting to re-spray my alloys to original silver but the spray i got from halfords turns out to be more grey than silver. Any suggestions on a different spray?
Also need to know how to remove the valve?

You need to remove the tyre to remove the valve

All the tyres are off. I scratched off any bubbling and sanded them getting rid of minor chips and scratches.
I tried pulling and turning the valves but with no success.
I used an old alloy to test the colour but it finished up looking like a matt grey, not the shiny silver i was expecting.

You have to pull like fook or cut the valve off! Am sure a lcoal tyre place will sell you a valve!

Just had same reply from a mate. Pull like fook. Will try it later.
Decided to try with this silver/grey paint.
If it looks naff i will try anthracite or black as it would suit the trop green.I think.
