paint on alloys is virtually the same as car paint , just changes when ur puttin the clear coats on.

Would stay clear from BnQ though lol. Gotta give it loads of clear coat if ur gonna use standard car paint as the usual 1 / 2 coats of it just wont give off any kind of shine

A'right!

So what if i want to go for the matt colour? just give the wheels a few coats of car spray paint??? do i have to laqer it? (don't know how to spell that word! LOL)

Problem i found when painting My scuffed alloy was that even though I put like 4-5 laquer layers on , the Spray stuff never actually comes out as glossy as 2-pack mixture paint. Would be better to get it done properly overall... only did mine as a temporary solution.

Although if ur after the matt look , it would work i guess. You do have to put laquer on n all , quite a bit of it on wheels as the stones rape bare paint

I dunno this for sure, but it wouldnt suprise me if they use a different kind of laquer. Cos mines taking a stone beatin with 5-6 layers still
