Too big. You'll have rubber bands for tyres, bad ride, risk of rubbing arches, add large amounts of rotating mass and unspring weight, making the car slower, handle worse and burn more fuel.
Some 16"ers with a nice low offset so they are pushed out in the arches.
There is a thread (which I posted) giving all the manufacturers wheels that are possible to fit an Almera.
I was'nt being funny/clever mush, i was just impressed that the N16 boys dealt with it so quickly, bang bang canvass time, faux pas diverted.
Like whats been said, 19's'll wreck the handling and look cack plus it'll make your brakes look like milk bottle tops (double cack) Slow you down (triple cack)
I've got a set of 17 x 7.5 ET35 DBM Largos to go on mine, came off myold civic. They look lovely on it but one has a bloody great dent in from go only knows where. What do we reckonto that offset - it seemed to me that they stuck out a bit too much for comort, haven't got them on now to test for rubbing.
Tyres are 205/40s so overall diameter is same as GTi standard rims which was nice.
