Alloys for my Almera 1.5 S 3dr

Hi all

I've just brought some Alloys for my Almera 1.5 S 3dr 2003 model - N16. They are 205/50/15 in size, what I would like to know is will thay fit ok on my car has I'm not completely sure.

The Alloys I brought are 5 spoke Enzo's and come with Runway Tyre's. I wasn't going to buy alloys at first but @ £225 for all 4 with tyre's I thought they were a bargain :P

Regards

Terry

Welcome to the club.

Yes they will fit ok, but your speedo will read a little fast as you normally have 195/55/16 (16" alloys) or 185/65/15 (15" steel wheels). I imagine yours being a phase 2 S model you originally had the steel wheels?

Thank you for having me :)

My car came with the 185/65/15 steel wheel's when brought in may 2012. My first car has I passed my test a week after buying it :P

When it comes to changing your tyres on the new 15" alloys you may want to think about getting 205/55/15.

That's assuming your Speedo is accurate out the factory. I've never had one that didn't read about 10% faster than I was actually going.

Grab a GPS Speedo app (I use the free Uylsse Speedometer for Android) to get an idea of how far off it is.

It won't be of course, but throwing it off another 6% is just exacerbating the inaccuracy.

Has my Almera is booked in for a service, could i get nissan to recalibrate my speedo to the wheel's that I'll be putting on tomorrow :P

I've had my alloys fitted and the only problem I'm getting is the Tyre's. They don't feel has good has the Barum's on my steel wheels.

I've been looking at some Dunlop 205/60R15 91H SP tyre's. Would these be ok for my current 15" alloys for me Almera.

I'm quite new to everything cars so not sure with tyre size's.

Thanks in advance
