I'm looking at buying some alloys off mate that are on his alfa, checked and the PCD is 4x98, Offset of 38 and a centre bore of 58.

Annoyingly close to a mera, i think you will agree. the mera centre bore is 59 so that shouldnt pose a problem, neither should the offset as that is within range.
Will the 2mm difference in the PCD mean they wont fit, cos i know there is a tiny bit of play when you put the wheels on.

Hoping for some good news :D

Chris.

I know you can get Special Bolts/Nuts for making 4x100 PCD Wheels fit on 4x98 Hubs.... As to whether they'd the work the opposite way round. I couldnt tell ya

have a look on Rochford tyres , he sells the bolts/nuts but only if you buy wheels

Sorry mate aint going to happen! you can get wobbly bolts to make 4x100 fit on 4x98 but nobody does wobbly nuts to make them go the other way!

Also wheel companys say it puts to much strain on the bolts/nuts makin them go the other way and isn't safe. (dont ask what the difference is as i have no idea! lol)

You sure they're 98mm PCD ?

I saved myself a small fortune on the MOMOs (pictured) cos they were listed as being a Fiat fitment ..... they were actually 100mm PCD and he must have had the wobbly bolts fitted on his Coupe :D

oh yeah, and you'll have to make sure the spigot rings will knock out - 1mm isn't much, but it's enough :(

I'll have to double check, good idea though!
