Finally bit the bullet and sold my wifes cinq sporting (well actually its still for sale) and have biught a 99 v plate almera 1.6gx. Yeah i know its not a GTi and to be honest i should have waited for an SRi, but she saw it and set her heart on it - and it meant it was an easy xmas pressie.

I want to personalise it a bit and was wondering wht alloys i can put on it ? or possibly if anyone has any to sell. All you guys who stick 17's and 18's on must have some alloys hanging about. However in the meantime i was wandering around Halfords and have seen some packages with 15s (i'd probably settle for 14s), but can someone tell me what drilling and offset i need...

Oh ansd lastly.....

Anyone wanna buy a black cinq sporting with 15s...just kidding..
 
Offset should be 35-40, and drilling is 4x100mm
I got my 15's from there, think its still 20% off alloy wheel packages which is pretty competitive for shops (not including the internet). They'll also price match other shops within 20miles.

so what did you go for and how much were they ? Doesn't the SRi come with alloys ? or did you just want nicer bigger ones ? I saw some for about £320 i think and a nice set for £349 (all including tyres)
 
Thats Not a bad price but please do check some places does not give u good tyres

(Halfords give you budget branded tyers that do not grip the road very well)
 
i would go for 17's they r cheap enough nowadays and tyres arnt that exspensive anymore either! anything less really looks to small on a almera
 
These guys seem very helpful and do some real good cheap packages and you can choose your tyres on some as well...they seemed pretty reasonable too
