almera 1400, quick question

Hiya, I've been here for a while lurking since I had my first mera, a 1400 Si 5 door, since I got rid of that, I've wanted another one, and have just found a nice clean reasonably priced 1400 3dr groove in dark green. I was wondering if this car would have power steering or not? I have problems with my shoulder related to an old sports injury, and can't drive without power steering, so was wondering if anyone knew if they are equipped with it or not. it's a p reg, so will be a p1. anyone?
 
According to PARKERS, the they had PAS as standard...

Could be wrong though check it out and take it for a test drive ;)
 
I got a 1996, it has power steering, would find it odd not to be standard on theese cars.

take it for a testdrive!
 
if you are unsure and dnt wanted a wasted journey to go and have a look then just ring them up and ask.
 
One of them came without, was looking at one earlier today, was white with black bumpers, really 'jazzy' interior had no power steering so I couldnt even test drive it!

Just rang up, this 1400 groove does have power steering, going to test drive it thursday and hopefully buy it. Will be nice to be back in a mera again!
 
i test drove a P plate 1.4 without power steering, i was shocked!?!?

think it was an action special edition with the grey bumpers and alloys
 
yep, my old 96 1.4 "Tempo" had nothing! (Maybe it was nissans rally 1.4 :D )

No sunroof, no leccy windows, no PAS, no rear speakers, no central locking at all.
 
I think the only model that didnt have it was the early p1 Equation, which didnt even have an airbag. good luck with it anyway!
