Almera at Japfest

I thought the almera club was gonna japfest. instead i was looking round the car park and saw one mod'd gti. This person is part of this club and ive just recently bought a sri and could do with some help doing it up. Will he be gonna jap show at santa pod??
 
david007 what is the rear splitter thing you has on your bumper off :confused: i like the look of that ;)
 
i was there with my blue sri, 98 reg with my trusty stickers on the side =D
i was dissappointed not to see any meras on the stands either. should have got my car on the sw-cc stand ... only out of desperation tho =/
 
There was a thread on the old forum for a stand but nobody was interested even though it was quite good last year. I couldn't make it due to work.
 
I believe Alan Blue went but without his car and i know Angel Long was there.

I was due to be on a trade stand (as there was no prearranged club stand) but didnt manage to get me new brakes on in time :rolleyes: Oh well should ave em by next weekend :D
 
I was there in my 99 Gti, seen about half a dozen Almeras around the car park, dissapointing not to see any on the stands though.

I parked up behind a Silver Gti - V*** FGR

That did take you a while mate.

Your car looked very tidy, hadn't really seen a silver one before that, its deffinatley one of the best colours.

I really can't believe how few Almeras were there, I been to few shows this year, and Japfest was the best by an absolute mile.
 
I didn't realise Silver was such a rare colour. Comes up a treat with Autoglym and a coat of S100 wax.

A shame there wasn't a stand at the show, I've not had the chance to talk to another Almera owner yet.

How about sticking your name down for the JapPerformance show at Sanat Pod. There'll be a few of us there on a stand.
 
If I'm not working on the Sunday I'll go. Probably best not to book a stand pass for me in case I can't make it. If there are any spare passes available on the day I guess I could always move from the carpark to the stand later. Thanks for the invite, hope to see you guys soon. :D
