almera gti flywheel trouble

I had a standard flywheel. I now have an XTD. Had it 8 months. No problems touchwood.

The teeth around the outside isn't a big problem. The teeth around the outside are only ever in contact with the starter motor. Whether its 108 or 109 the wrong amount can throw up a check code light but this only applies to obd2 cars. Ours are OBD1. I never counted if my old / new one had 108 or 109. Only other issue it -could- cause is the starter motor to burn out sooner so no biggy.

Standard is 108, XTD's have 109 but this is to cover OBD1 and OBD2 cars as it makes no difference on our cars being OBD1 we dont have the crank sensor

Thanks for sharing this information guys. Xtd any good? I heard/read very bad thing about it, broken flywheels/clutches also slipping.

F1 racing flywheel NOTE: Please note this flywheel will NOT work on 108 ring gear flywheel cars. It will only work on cars with 109 ring gear flywheel
