almera gti on ebay for sale """warning""""

a warning to anyone who is thinking of bidding on the black almera gti in wisbech i travelled 189 miles today to pick this car up of which i was going to pay £900 for when i finally got there its a heap of rust!!!!! the body work looks good from a distance but up close its rough !!! its been smashed and the front panel has been bodged up the whole of inside of boot is just coverd in rust and seat belt mounts in rear !!! every arch is rotten the list goes on avoid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
number plate ends (fto):(

NLY BAD POINTS ARE, THERE IS A BIT OF RUST AROUND THE DRIVERS LOCK AND A TINY SCAB ON THE BOOT LID, ONLY A 10 MINUTE JOB!

If it was only a 10 minute job why wouldn't you fix it and get more for the car? Its obviously been in a bump at the front. But as corbs said P1 skirts its a bit odd. Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

yeah well theres 3 more bids on it now and boy what a rotten suprise there gonna get its a heap!!! was well gutted after travelling all that way but hey at least i aint got a rotter!!!!!:)

did this have a "snap-on" sticker on the front bumper?? if so then its been on ebay a few times this year ,one add was claiming 180bhp or something similar !!

dont let it put you of an almera as they are great cars & once you own one nothing else matters:D, check out the for sale section on here & or ask members who live close to a car youre interested in to go review/look at it for ya

You need to report this to ebay if you bid through there for it otherwise someone else will end up with it and may ending just taking it wishing they hadnt bothered!

Had a look at this one myself a week ago, a 2 hour drive each way. The bodywork is awful, the disks are screwed and the clutch is on the way out. Unusually the engine bay was very clean.

Have put a deposit on another 'Mera from Ebay, the blue one from Milton Keynes. Different beast entirely, or at least I hope so...

It seems quite difficult to find good cars in the south.

yh i was the mug who just brought it for a woping £100 so im not that bothered all i need now is to re shell it in to a micra if its possibull

Thats usually a give away that theyre trying to cover up something, though you would think theyd try and cover up the bodywork somehow as well
