almera n16 lowering help

hi guys i have just acquired my mams almera n16 1.8 sport+ and wats the maximum you can lower it on springs all i can find is 35mm at the front and 20mm at the rear help please

H&R do 35mm front and rear. 35mm is the lowest I have come across too.

I've seen "cobra" do 40mm. Never seen them on any car though so couldn't vouch for them.

Coilovers are pretty much the only option of getting very low with the 1.8 mate. ED's got it lucky with his heavy ass deisel

Yeah the H&R springs I had coupled with the diesel, and my 205/55 tyres made my car sit near perfect

Best bet for springs (in my opinion) are Eibach Pro which drop 30mm front and rear which is about as low as you can safely go on standard shocks. Great springs that give a nice ride. Had them on my 1.5 N16 and they were great.

Any lower and you're looking at coilovers I'm afraid, got K-Sports on my 1.8 sport from a group-buy through the club and they are incredibly good if a bit harsh on rough roads. Can slam them until you're scraping along the road.
