Hi all ,any advice on this appreciated ...
Have a faithful 04 Tino 1.8 Automatic (50,000 miles) , every few weeks it will not start first time , just get a quite "click " when turning the key, it starts after 3 attempts though.
Realise its most likely the starter motor or solenoid sticking, but would a diagnostic test show this up even it it started normally for the tester , just do not want to fork out dosho for a diagnostic test has no chance of picking up the prob if it starts ok, if you get my drift.
Should i just bite the bullet and cough up for a new starter & solenoid ,or is there something i should ckeck first ?
