This is what I face getting my car onto the drive.
With coilovers heading my way, anyone have any suggestions

Not parking on the drive being my first suggestion.

Just go really really slow.

But if you do scrape it's only underneath, the bottom of my splitter is white. lol

put some conrete over the incline and make it less harsh?? It isn't a public pavement so it shouldn't be a problem.

I did pose the idea to my dad about adding to the road, he didnt seem to keen for the sake of my car, but he goes to france for 2 weeks in August so who knows what might happen. ;)

Maybe even a bit of landscaping. Try and even the surface out a bit. couple of tonnes of hardcore and a thwacker. Should do it.

oh yeah move the dog first.

How about parking where that silver Vauxhall is?

The challenge is getting the car up onto the drive in the first place, il park anywhere once its up.

If I stay real close to the wall on the left going up the angles arent so harsh,
Plenty o time to work things out though,
Anyone with coilys feel like driving here and testing for me

Il give you bacon....?

Fancy losing some more weight from that splitter ;)

Reversing up would be worse as your bumper would easily scrape!

You'd think so, but slopes are weird things, a guy I know who had a chavvy Saxo and a slopey drive thing ended up reversing up which he said fixed it, although I'm sure it's technically impossible since the ground itself will always be the same!

After a month with coilovers, your drive/splitter will be the last of your worry's.

Getting the shops in under 1 hour will be......

Put a thin plastic/rubber lip unerneath the splitter to take the impact away from your paint. Mine scrapes everywhere and im not even on coilovers.

Also something I have considered, just looking for something suitable, that wont look gash.

Quite right! it takes me 15 mins alone hmming and ahhring as wether or not to take the slammed Gti or the Riding high clio. I usually go with the clio, hence why im lucky to do 100 miles a month in the Gti.

I think you could get away with a 40mm drop without the drive becoming an issue from looking at your pics. Good job you dont have a custom exhasut as if like mine, it will be the lowest part of the whole car!!

From what Ive read the minimum drop with the daiyamas is 70mm at the front and 50mm at the back,
A custom exhaust is the next thing on my list, think Il have to ask them to keep it as close to the bottom of the car as possible.
