Angel Eyes/Headlight

Does the headlight unit come appart?? I.e. does the glass seperate from the back of the unit? there are clips that appear to hold the glass on... Not too sure myself... I want to get these angel eyes things anyone got them?
 
What headlights? 00-02 or 03-on

You will be able to take them apart, just need to mealt the sealant and prise them apart.

I've done this to an 03 headlight. It takes a while but it will separtate.
 
Ah wicked, i have a 2001 model ("51"). How does one go about sealing them again??
 
Just heat up the sealant again, press the lense back on and let the sealant cool.
 
Ah cool how did you heat them with out damaging them?? im guessing cooker or microwave is not a good idea??? jus kidding!!
 
I filled my bath with hot water from the tap. submerged it for about 5mins then prised apart.

I only done the above way as my headlight wouldn't fit in my oven :mad:
