She passed bless her, just a couple of bits n bobs wooooo hoooo!!

Failed on 2 split pins :eek:

One in track rod end and one in bottom ball joint on wishbone, cost me all of about 50p to sort that one.

Also failed horrendously on emissions even with a brand new cat. Read something like 85/200 ppm on HC and think it was 0.36% CO on fast idle (limit is 0.20%) and natural idle it read about 0.53% CO (limit is 0.30%).

Found out it was lambda sensor fooked up so fitted a new one. Emissions are now....

Fast Idle - 0.00% CO out of 0.20% CO and 32 ppm out of 200 ppm HC!!

Natural Idle was 0.22% CO out of 0.30% CO

Not bad at all for a 158K P reg GTi....mera's all the way!!

Got the lambda off buypartsby mate....it was about £33 in total (3 wire one) cheap as chips!

All the parts dealers locally was about £65 for one. I hate to think how much one from Nissan would cost!! :eek:
 
nice one, hope mine goes straight through again this year, can barely afford to MOT it at the moment never mind fix any problems, fingers crossed :lol:
