any ideas

hi guys,

this noise has started this past few weeks,when i start car from cold it seems like starter motor is continuing for a few seconds,but is dont do it when the engine is warm and i start it,its a almera gti 99,just wanted to know if it was anything serious.

is it a rattling sound that last for a couple of seconds? if so its just the timing chain tensioner as it runs of oil pressure, completely normal
