Hi im going to look at one of these german tanks tomorrow just wondering if theres any common faults that anyone knows about? Its the 2L petrol estate.
Guy in work has an 80 but isnt an estate, Ive quizzed him on them and hes said if its an 8v dont bother go for the 16v, much better engine,
A few things to watch out for are,
The Radiator Temp Gauge Not working, (Common Fault)
Brake Calipers Sticking, (Handbrake Check it Works)
Throttle Body (can get very dirty)
Check the Head Gasket esp (his has just gone)
