Any Primera Owners???

i know its a long shot but if n e 1 has had a primera or gone from almera to primera please read and help if you can

my mums car has a wierd problem i cannot put my finger on

when you decellerate using engine rev's it feels as if the break pedal is harshly vibrating.

kinda like the vibrating you get when abs kicks in just not as hard.

however the break pedal isnt being presed

this also happens when braking sometimes (not hard enough to set off abs mind)

any ideas on where to look.

they took it to a local garage and they cant see any problems with the braking system, so we dont think its that. and also happens when not breaking.

so no ideas really on it
 
Just a note i had the same issue with my P11GX,

try the following, remove the fuse of the ABS. and try the brakes. breaks will work as normal but you wont have ABS at this stage. if the brakes are file you know there is an ABS fault. if the same prob is there check make sure none of the disks are warped and pads have plenty meat on them.

yeah i had a primera sri and had the same problem turned out to be two problems one was the cv joint had a a crack in the abs ring and i also loomed the abs wire behind the caliper with electrical tape and had no problems
