Anyone remember nightrider?

Saw this near the office today when I was out getting lunch. It even had the moving front red light buzzing from side to side.

I remember Knightrider, the car was called "K.I.T.T" (can't remember what that was meant to stand for, though).

Saw one of the cars from the show at some 'Cars of the Stars' museum in the Lake District last year but it was put in the shade by the original bikes from Easy Rider.

They are re-making Knightrider, can't remember if it's as a movie or a new TV series, though (think it's a movie).

My mate had one of them. X reg one but didn't have the nightrider stuff on it. It was a nightmare to fault find and get parts for and no-one wanted to do anything to it. Plus they only had 145bhp when they were new! It looked nice but was a pain to fix. The engine wiring loom was only half connected and thats standard apparently!!!
