i believe the bumper is made from the number plate surround been put in the bumper somehow.

As for smooth rear, does look sweet but gotta make sure its done well as ive seen loads that have cracked!

Defo worth doing tho if affordable

Can use a plate to cover most of it up , the fibreglass to give it the curve & blend it in.

a metal/ alu plate is welded in place, then edges smoothed and filled, had no probs with mine cracking, was shunted last year and need the back pannel replaced, and was surprised that it didnt crack, so must be good job.

it costs around £200 but its worth it, looks soooo much better.

yes it has to have a steel plate welded in then a thin layer of filler to make it nice and it will be fine, mines been done 3 years now i think, and no cracks
the bumper insert is the insert thats in the P2 hatches already, just plastic welded into place and a thin layer of filler

so basically the flush boot work is custom made.... i wud need a steel plate in place and then fill it over with fibre glass .... and the bumper??? i still not sure but you have to cut out the space urself????
