bigger brake discs and calipres. which brand????

hello can anyone please recommend which brand of brake discs I should buy for my s reg almera si 1.4. thinking of putting 17 inch alloys on hence bigger discs and claipres. Any advice on dos and donts and advice on brands would be greatley appreciated.

For a 1.4 just fit some GTi calipers and discs. Get standard discs. Standard pads will be ok unless you track it.

Save your money don't buy expensive 17'' alloys, bigger brakes etc

Buy a GTi instead, job done would save you money in the long run.

I've modified lower powered cars for insurrance reasons before but if I just bit the bullet and got a GTi in the first place id have saved myself thousands over the years

And to top it It have 5+ years driving experience on a GTi so now my insurance would be peanutz
