I have never seen these mentioned before, so i was just wondering if anyone on here has these on their almera gti, and if so wat are they like???? i have ordered a set of 4, and they are being imported as we speak. I have asked from most companies and they have said they cant get hold of them but i have managed to get hold of them through a local company -which is a bonus. They said that it will work out at £225 for the 4, but i'm not sure if that includes VAT or not-i think it does because they put it through on my card. Finally he seems to think that they are gas shocks, but how do these compare to fluid ones???? i have heard that they are better?!?!

cheers guys.
Kris.

I asked this question a while ago, got mixed replies and some rolleyes answers saying Nissan knew what they were doing, I just ended up confused and thinking that the standard ones were gas as well...
Let us know what you think though, the reason I asked before was because Bilsteins are nearly always highly rated.

The fronts are inserts so require you to cut your OE damper up to accept the new unit.

Crikey! :O

the konis are the same, require quite a bit of chopping, chieseling, sawing, grinding, then turned in the lathe, then drilled for the locating bolt, not too hard, but time consuming, and of course you need all the tools

ok cheers guys, sounds like a mission to me! i didnt know that they were inserts-otherwise i wouldnt have bought them! but will see wat there like

I`m sure someone on here was selling some un-used Bilstein shocks a while ago....i nearly bought `em but descided against it because of the fronts being inserts.
