Bioethanol Conversion

Anyone any info on this???

I know that robbie @ TDP in Ireland has his monster GTR powered by the stuff...

Is there a power gain? an economical gain? is the fuel readily available?

Im not going to do this Im just interested...
 
Doing a little more research into this... Might not be such a bad idea seeing as its 104 octane (ref: http://www.maxol.ie/maxol-bioethanol-e85.html Maxol E85

Im assuming that you would qualify in Ireland for cheaper tax as it could be classed as a bio fueled car...

Corrosion of rubber and steel parts and a conversion kit mappable ECU and bigger/modded injectors and a higher fuel consumption seem to be the issues
