Black N1 and Unusual Colour VZR!

Two cars i spotted going through the auctions!

Fairly ropey looking Black N1, Auction sheet says Grade 3.5 but the paint looks crap on it. Poor pictures though!

Also spotted this Grade 3.5 Wine VZ-R. Have never seen one in this colour before and it looks ok!

grade 2.5 is alright for a 97 car..good luck with the bidding if you go for it n1's have being going for stupid money

Not going to bother bidding on the N1. Looks poor tbh!

Reckon this N1 could end up being a bargain. Very High mileage on it so i reckon it could be got for ok money!

If i can find a decent VZR to a spec i want i'll be looking at less than 6k landed in the country! You match that? :D

eh no..you be very lucky sure you wont get it a 99/00 decent grade out of japan for less than 3500 euro if your lucky..21 vat on that brings it to 4235..another 10% eu charges is 4658..then handling charges and vrt nearly 7k..still way cheaper than im looking for ive but spent 1000's on mine now.

if you get one in for 6k fair play to ya just dont tell anyone till ive sold mine!!

oh wait to late now.. :O

What if I told you my 1999 cost me 6k last March and the price of VZRs seems to have dropped in Japan since!!

Also i've a way of lowering the actual amount payable on the VAT etc...

you got your VZR for 6k all in?? excellent..i worked out impoting an n1 and i wouldnt of got change out off 9k..not worth it for the hassle and wait..goin 2 litre turbo now..probably legacy b4..280 bhp for an extra 98 euro insurance..fully delcared twin turbo ..gonna get one before the loophole on them shuts,..be rude not too

Y i'd like to buy one also but just can't stretch to the asking price of them. Quinn-direct will insure them for buttons for the car they car! Beautiful Black 99 Blitzen going through auction at the minute. Looks like a few extras on it too!

had a spin in a blitzen...mad stiff suspension i dont see the point it takes the comfort factor out of the equation which for an aul fella like me id just go for a type r impreza if i wanted something that focused.....Id love to keep the vzr its flying now but have no room for 2 cars..missus would crack up aswell..I know il regret selling it.

What are the differences in the Blitzen?

Cousin had a woman tip his car the other day and when the husband was paying for the damage he arrived in a 1999 B4. Was telling my cousin that parts were hard to find for it. Kind of trial and error with finding stuff. Apparently its Subaru Forrester brakes that are on it anyway.

blitzen has a free flow exhaust ,slightly higher boost...sports suspension..about 30 bhp extra..lighter as well. few interior bits like pedals and what have ya.

scrap what i said above it doesnt have any extra power just a porche tuned blisten suspension...more lies from irish dealers

Honestly i wouldn't bother with coilovers unless you plan on using them on track. Mate has them in his CR-X and they are just too rough for our roads. Have only driven a VZR briefly with them and was on good roads so might be different but i think they're just too stiff!

A good set of uprated and lowered shocks and springs will be as benificial and won't shake your car to bits!
