Hi guys

what do you think

seen a few almeras with the said wheels, mainly the octane ones from wolfrace, but none on a blue almera! so what they look like and will 15" look stupid, i am in the market for some new wheels but rubber is damn expensive after 15"

any opinions and pics welcome

Sean

15's will look stupid as u say. black with chrome rim will look lurvely and 17" is the way to go if u dont fancy 18's

cheers guys

i suppose i could go for 17s, as 15s would look very small as the arches are fairly big on the mera

still undecided about the black centre, might have a look at some with a dark tint to the centre, but deffo want a lip :)

go for 17s mate, trust me they look small enough so 15s would just look silly. heers a better pic of me car for ya mate, just to give ya an idea.

17's are the ones to go for, problem is rubber costs.
you might wana try the website, mytyres.co.uk, well cheap tyres but you have to get them fitted at about £10-15 per corner. still works out cheaper than the likes of quick fit and type spot.

yeah know about the tyres hehe hence wanting 15s originally hehe

can get em fited and balanced at £3 each ;)

15" will look way too small, as those alloys look small in 17" form! My mate has some on a black Gti thats lowered and it does look good. However i was not too impressed with the finish on the wheels, and they do look a bit cheap up close. But from a distance or if you saw it driving down the street it looks awesome, very jap street racer style

I personally think they should be left to black cars, however the red almera looks good with them on, this is only because he has a kit on...

Gadgers looks good, and it would look better if he got a kit, those wheels need something else to make them look right, sideskirts and splitters would do the trick.

Oh and 215/45/17 tyres start from about £45 a corner, you can get a decenish set of falkens for £60 a corner, these aint your Eagle F1's or what ever, but do provide decent grip for budget tyres... If your going to get alloys, you are gonna have to get tyres end of. And even though tyres can get quite expensive, remember mate, they are the only points of contact between you and the road...
