bonnet grille on n16

hi, i have a 2000 x sport +, does anyone know if the later mesh panels will fit as i prefer these.
 
I have not measured them both but from an external viewing it looks like the the new N16 ones are bigger. If you want mesh grilles then get the MS Design grille inserts
 
many thanx for the replies, just looked up the ms designs and they look great, any other aftermarket options avilable ?
