was just woundering if there was a company that made bonnet lifters for an n15, or if you could use ones from a different car.

have these fitted on mine, done a 'how to' guide and its on this site somewhere.. my lifters were off a mk2 golf, theyll fit with a little modification

Theese are custom sets made for the almera.
The guy has got them from someplace in germany, and completes the set with nuts and those stuff to fit the mera.

It's ok price in Norway, espessially scince it's a bolt on (need to drill one hole just)..

They come in black, needs to be sanded and polished chrome 8)

aye cheers never thought about doing that, got a set of old ones somewhere.

ive jus got some boot struts off a mera for free, how did u fit urs paul????

tut tut txt type lol

bolted the ram end to the bonnet hinges, used one of the existing bolts on the hinge and roughly copied the angle of my dads 406 bonnet lifters then bolted the other end to the wing, although there is like a rolled lip on the edge of the wing which the gas strut presses against, should flatten this down really but as its pressing against it its also lifting my bonnet at the rear, no extra nut for me people to lift the bonnet lol

Here you go corbs, see if that helps anyone.

Ah now I see what you meant about the bonnet hinges! Thats brilliant, cheers mate I'm going to give this a try with my micra boot lifters over xmas!

its great, all cars should come with them!

so much easier and no worries about knockin the bonnet stay and it slamming on your head.
