Boot straps?

Hi guy's. I seem to have some straps in the passenger side of the boot near the rear light. Some are elastic (in the boot carpet) and some clip together. Any ideas what they are for?

My sub is pushed under my rear strut brace!! lol

Bad points of this is that the bass from the sub goes straight though the car!! vibrates everything!!

heres mine in action, i duno why but the guy who my friend bought the sub off cut a hole in it to put a fan in then screwed a bit of chipboard over the hole...pleb. Gave me a bit to screw it into though, and clips off for easy removal.

I know some N16s were supposed to have an umbrella strap on the back seats but that does not sound right.

Poncy but less poncy that the Rolls Phantom with the branded teflon coated umbrellas that pop out from inside the rear dors when you open them - hmmmm - now <i>that's</i> a mod that's not been done to a 'mera yet...

Maybe a briefcase or golf bag strap?

Yep my brothers N16 SE has a brief case and unbrella strap!

Yet my Sport has neither

No idea what they`re really for, but I keep my AOC showplates tucked under it, to stop them moving around the boot.

The straps near my light hold my emergency breakdown shiz, rope, hammer and a fuck off massive adjustable.
