hello all my fellow travellers, I have had a P reg 1600 for some years - brill. but the windscreen wipers will only work on fast - no slow or intermittent.
Anyone know the cause please?

Thanks for your rapid reply. I feel like a particularly perceptive 4 yr old whilst von braun is trying to teach him the 2x table. How can the motor be at fault when it whizzes the wiper round on fast? Where is the relay? I really must get the workshop manual.

P.S. Reading a lot of your history I can't think of anyone better to ask; i'm 71, also ride a 900 triumph and a 650 suzuki and am seriously proposing to replace my aging almera with a later model. Which one do I want please?

Welcome along brian. My bet would be a faulty stalk. Cheap and easy enough to get a replacement from a scrap yard and 30mins to fit.

1994 trophy 900. Had it since 95 (4000 miles ). Only real problem knackered starter clutch at 10k( fixed by fitting 1200 unit ). Now 35k on clock and going brill. Also got SV650s new last year. At 71 and generally becoming decrepit I find that the riding position on that is a bit testing but it's quite an exciting ride.I'm having a hell of a job finding a wheelchair with more than 75bhp on tap.
