My tachometer has gone n given up on me.

Symptoms: Upon starting the car the tacho spins round and stays at 8k revs (where the little stick thing stops the needle going any further) then it sometimes just decides to float around the dial or occasionaly it will work. I have had the car 8 months n this problem started about a month ago. A friend says its something in the clutch which is worn...ive checked the relays n fuses which seem to be fine...

anyone got any ideas?

oh n where can i get an AOC sticker?

peace

ive seen this before on a couple of almeras, but the car was in for a differant thing,so couldnt diagnose it.it aint gonna be the clutch though! more than likely a wiring fault,or a new rev counter, although i dont know if these are available seperately.i know the speedo is,but unsure of rev counter.
