Its a split on here some people prefer with some with out. I have took mine off and like it. Go through the members rides section and make up your mind from that.

i was fairly unsure til i did it, thought the doors would look bare and empty, but without's better i think. with them on the car looks too long, without it makes the car look shorter and deeper, more in proportion. although colour-coding them's a good compromise. colour code or remove, don't leave 'em black, borin!!

Each to their own on this one, im kind of thinking about getting some to put on but i dont think i will, just another expense for me. Your cars black so it wont make much of a difference. I say leave them on.

oops! ignore my stoopid colour coding comments then, seeing as ur car is indeed black, forgot that bit! still take em off tho.

i think the strips look ok in black as they are colour coded.. thats why i left mine on.. if i had another colour though, i'd probably either colour code them or take them off

mine never had them and i wouldnt add them, doesnt look right with the GTi kit and then horrible black bits of plastic running down the sides, makes it look a bit stupid imo.

leave them on, as mentioned it makes the doors look too long and smooth. Especially on a black car.

Just my input from having two almeras without bumpstrips, and now I have 6 extremely battered and dented doors, with paint and/or lacquer all peeled off on the ends, and rust threatening to creep in. I wish I had bumpstrips.

simple solution, park miles away from people in 2 bays

Keep them on, IF I ever get some new wheels, which will be black....they'll suit them alot better.

And the doors are too huge to leave plain.

leave them on. whatever colour they are or the car is, just leave them on. if not only for the useful paint protection they provide.

defo take them off , they look real bad , sorry for the peeps who like them , but i took mine of and the car looks miles better .

this is ma car b4 they were taken of

i think it depends on what your used to so everyones opinions are useless really, iv never had them so it looks wierd to me when almeras have them, but people that have them seem to think they break the doors up a bit (which i think they do on other cars, but i think almeras look better without them). if i had them when i bought it i would probably be telling you to keep them.
