Buying a Almera N16 1.5 2001 - Good choice?

Hello,

I always liked Nissan cars and since i got a good deal, i am buying one Nissan Almera Hatchback N16 1.5 90 hp with 110.000 km.

Its a good choice?

Should i be worried about the cam chain problems?

I found some misleading data regarding the car weight, the Hatchback version is heavier than the Sedan?

Thanks alot.

Make sure it changes gear ok etc as gearboxes are shite on the 1.5's.

Also make sure the EML is not on, if it is,check why...if it's cam/crank sensor walk away. That is very likely to be the chain stretched..

Front rad support are prone for rusting too, which is costly to replace at a garage.

However the n16's are good little cars, nice and easy to drive, plus cheap to run.
