When your camchain is on the way out does it rattle all the time?

Cam chains should really need replaced, My primera chain rattles too and its at 177k, doesnt mean its gonna fail, it will just be stretched slightly. I wouldnt worry about it mate.
when im driving its rattling noise all the time when my foots down but if u put belt slip on it its fine for a few days
what mileage is it on and what model?

If it's a 1.5 model, then this topic has also been covered in a fairly recent thread. The 00'-02' years IIRC had a weakness for slipping chains. Do a search for it mate.
