camshaft sprockets

Hi everyone,
I'm just doing the finishing touches to my full engine rebuild after my last post about oil everywhere,
turns out the oil had hardened in the head and caused most of the valve stem seals to fail in a big way!

Anyway i'm finding it hard to find the right torque setting for the camshaft sprocket bolts as the manual stats to "tight to correct torque" without telling what the correct setting is?????

anyone got any ideas on what to tioghten these too? it's starting top hold me up now and if i hear nothing back then i'll just go to 100 N.m and hope for the best.

Many thanks Baz

NO! Far too much.

As a rough estimate you're looking at something like 20ft lbs (27Nm)

Shit! Ive really chose a poor time to misread the thread title.

I thought we were talking about cam bearing caps! Tighten them sprocket bolts right up Baz!
:O
