Right a while ago i sent an email to a company www.streamlinecarbon.com
01295 811267 and they said it would be the thing of the first one made = alot  but they have just emailed me and told me they have just bought all the old molds of Procomp and they have the Almera one there and so can make them up
so hope this helps you all

My supplier, and will be selling bonnets at the same rate as me once they have made up the first bonnet for me, and then further first 10 bonnets which I'll be buying.

Cool i asked them in Febuary and they just got back to me today out of the blue so thought i should share :D ;)

I asked them yesterday for a price and the came back with £500+vat as they say they are using is better than what procomp used, this is the email he sent me
"Hi these bonnets better quality than the original streamline/procomp bonnets they made wet lay carbon bonnets we are using prepreg carbon which is stronger and lighter and looks perfect to these bonnets at the moment should be lacquered we haven't got the spray booth working yet anyway you can have an almera bonnet for £500 + vat and p+p the lacquering would cost £100 extra maybe you can sort that out I know this all sounds allot of money but the cost of carbon has gone up and quality is far better and I would say the best around thanks Mervyn Streamline Carbon "

try ringing if email not work!

So thats roughly
Price £500
VAT £87.5
Postage £30 (a guess)
Laquering £100

Total of £717.5

Laquerings going to pretty essential isnt it?

Do you leave that off if you are going to paint it? like if you are going stealth lightweight rather than showing off your carbon?

You dont paint over laquer so you would need to get it primed (not sure if it'll be a special primer) and then painted and then laquered.

Look into what temp you can take it upto if you're baking on the paint - you dont want all the epoxy or w/e they use in the weave to melt and undo itself.
