CD Changer

Hi there - New member requiring info.

I have an '03 N16 2.2 SXE 136 with all the usual gimmicks (SAT NAV, Single CD player etc.) Can anyone tell me what CD changer unit I can fit, if any, without disrupting the whole system. I presume I have to fit a standard "Nissan" unit in the hatchback. Although it may be possible to fit a unit in place of the single player in the dash. Any help / advice would be gratefully rec'd.
By the way I love the car - had it for 2 years and its great fun showing the boy racers in their flashy Peugeots, Astras etc. that an old man in a bog standard Almera may have a lot more under the bonnet than it would appear.

Sadly I don't think Nissan makes a changer for the Almera N16. I have had a look on the Autoleads and Connect2 website to see if they made a changer adapter for the Almera but they don't make one.

one thing you can do is Install a radio in your glove box like I have done

Darren - Nice idea but the wife needs the glove box for her bits and pieces - bit like a handbag and I daren't look in there either. However I've got an old Almera accessories brochure which quotes for a multi changer which I think goes in the hatchback - I'll have to dig it out and have a proper look but I think it has the code CV707 or something similar. I'll have to talk to my local friendly / expensive dealership.
