CD's stuck inside Sony CDX656 Multichanger

I took my Sony CDX-656 Multichanger out of my old Almera before selling it, forgetting to take out the CD's first!

I now have a powerless multichanger and can't see an obvious way to get the disks out.

Does anyone out there have any pearls of wisdom (other than plug it back into the headunit for power - no can do)?

Get some odd bits of wire and connect your ground some point on the chassis and put your always positive and ignition positive to the positive side of your battery. Stick the face on if you have a detacable one and that should do it. if you have any spare stick a fuse inline in the wire to just incase too on the positive ends.

After re-reading it i realised it was your cd changer not the head unit. Maybe something similar been done to that too.
 
is there not a small pin hole any where ? you can usually push through a paper clip to unlock the catridge.
well i could do this on my old clarion 6 disc'er iirc
 
Yeah I figured there should be something like this, but the only one I can find on the whole unit will eat a whole paperclip, so thats obviously not it.

Its looking like they're just gonna have to stay in there for the time being till I can find a headunit to power it up from.
