So I was in a bit of a rush this morning, and without much thought I shoved my car key in my pocket while I sorted out some music to listen to while walking to college. About 80 metres in, I noticed my key wasn't in my pocket, so I looked round, to see 2 chavs picking up my key, and running off. Turns out it had fallen through a hole in my pocket. They were too far away for me to catch up, and there were 2 of them, so I had to wait about 2 hours by my car to get a spare, then I had to spend the day going to the scrappy to get new lock barrels, and fitting them. Bloody rude chavs could have given the key back, saved me a day and £20.
Also, I'm still worried that the chavs might spot my car and try to break in, seeing as I park there almost every day, so how do I reprogram my immobiliser? I got a chip in the key from the scrappy, so what do I do?
Cheers,
Phil
