Chroming and temp

Been given a quote for my cam cover and a few other bits and pieces choming, the guy said its suitable for up to 80 degrees....

is this suitable?

Best person to speak to is andy mate, he used to have a chrome cover but think it went funny due to the heat hence the gold one now.

where you get the quote from neil, i didnt know of anywhere round here that done it, im after a few bits and pieces doing aswell

80 it will last a lot more than that m8 we heat treat our chrome at 210 and we do do it for some people at 400+

Chrome also being reflective reflects heat rather than absorbing. Sadly... back into ur engine lol

mine is chromemate and got no problems with it mate
