Right, the other day (after simcard's photoshopping handywork) I decided to strip the bronze paint from the lip on my Rota rims.
bit of an impulse thing but it's lookin good so far.
Anyway, my question is once i've polished them up to a decent shine, can anyone suggest a high gloss lacquer to protect the bare alloy?
I know you wouldn't normally clearcoat polished aluminium but with it bein the wheels i can put up with a slightly worse finish to stop brake dust and road dirt etc, totally makin a mess.
I've got some ordinary clear lacquer but isn't that just for on top of paint - not bare metal?
cheers guys.
