Clutch Issues

hey guys, first of all sorry for posting this in the wrong place, my car needed a new clutch so i had one fitted by a friend of my old man's he assured me he was well up to the job.........when i had the car back there were hoses left loose bolts not tightened up and other bits and bobs, all that has been sorted apart from he cut a wire off a clip witch is located round the back of the engine, he cut the wires so close there is no hope of re-connecting it to the clip, does anyone know the name of this part and where to get one from? the speedo does not work and the mileage does not change, all so the trip computer ''trip A'' - ''trip B'' stays on 0.0 .........any help guys i got a feeling my guessing every time i go through a speed camera is going to get me in s**t very soon :( cheers guys and sorry again for posting in wrong section

who cuts wires to drop the gearbox? what a retard, I guess you wouldn't but don't go back to him with any more work! anyway if you pull the connector off the speed sensor and disassemble it you will be able to solder the wires back on to the pins, either that or go to a scrappy and get the connector with some wire left on it and just solder the wires together

deffo not going back to him, @happyharrysco1 i tried that and just nackered the plastic trying to get the pins out, phoned all scrappys my way and cardiff and mad as it seems not one of them has got an almera in there yard :( is there an actual name for the part in question? thanks for the info guys :)
