Cold Air Boost lol

Just been out in the car and the temperature has really dropped and i hope im not being stupid but my god my car has never felt so responsive on the throttle, it seems to pull harder aswell, yes i know its only a baby 1.4 but there is definately a noticeable difference!

Anyone else enjoying this cold factor?

I didnt really notice it with the almera last year but with the sunny its far more noticeable

Bugger. I thought it was because i'd taken out my 2 ounce back seats! its just the weather?! i still refuse to put them back in, they're in cack condition.

Yeah the cold air is definatly a winner, but i find im losing power more so when its really damp.

same, car runs shit in the damp as barometric pressure is low i think should be about 100 and in the damp is considerably lower! thats what i got told anyway

took my car out the other night a couple of hours after i got home from work when the temp under the bonnet was cool, but it heated up really quick and it was real nice and cold and she went like a rocket

I fitted my K&N induction kit to the 'mera yesterday evening and i had so much fun driving around last night, the car felt like it was on steroids! Must have been to cold air lol! Mine's only a 1.4 too, also i've fallen in love with the induction noise! :O

When i first put my k&n on, the sound was ridiculous, i loved it.
just bought the ford mondeo zetec induction kit of the bay to move the filter by the battery, thanks to everyone he helped out on that one.

6am saturday mornin i noticed it aswell was rather cold then and everyone knows the crap acceleration of a 1.4 but it hit 100 quite easily lol

sorry i just find this post so funny! but yes i have to admit the cold air does make a difference i bet your 1.4's are pushing nearly 73bhp now..... lol :rasp:

The book figure is actually 85bhp :P and with a full Nissan Service History i'd like to think it's still around that sort of area ;)

The GA14, has 85 raging horses, but is pretty slow due to the weight.

Love the 18yr old, Male GTi driver :P

yeah 85 for the injection, anyone know the weight of a 1.4 sunny, gotta be a fair bit lighter than a mera as i got no sunroof, no PAS and no Electric mirrors/windows etc. trying finding out but have had no luck
